About the Ministry
The personal ministry of Pastor Timothy H. Bullock

Pastor Timothy H. Bullock
Pastor Timothy H. Bullock was born on August 17, 1985, in Detroit, Michigan. His life has been marked early by both divine calling and profound loss. At the age of five, he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and was baptized shortly thereafter. Yet at just eight years old, his world was shaken by the death of his mother, Joan Ann Bullock, who succumbed to breast cancer. That loss ushered him into a season of grief and depression so deep that, even as a child, it manifested physically with his hair falling out under the weight of sorrow few could see.
Still, God's hand was evident. At nine years old, Pastor Bullock embraced the call to preach the Gospel, delivering his first sermon, "Broken Down Altars," from 1 Kings 18. His early formation was shaped under the guidance of his father, Rev. Dr. Samuel H. Bullock Jr., whose pastoral leadership and theological grounding provided both structure and covering during formative years marked by pain and promise.
As life unfolded, Pastor Bullock's journey was not without detours. Though known as a "boy preacher," he deviated from the path, pursuing a career in music that exposed him to environments both dangerous and life-threatening. Yet even in deviation, God's purpose did not depart. His gifts opened doors on national and international stages, but they also placed him in moments where survival itself was a testimony of divine preservation.
In a season that embodied both achievement and heartbreak, the very year Pastor Bullock took his father to the Grammy Awards Ceremony in New York, his father unexpectedly passed away while attending a Ministers Conference in Dallas. That same period was compounded by a brutal physical attack that left Pastor Bullock requiring reconstructive surgery on the left side of his face. Loss, violence, and grief converged, but they did not have the final word.
A proud graduate of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Morehouse College, Pastor Bullock earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion. During his collegiate years, he led weekly Bible studies across the Atlanta University Center, mentored fellow students, and served as a Chapel Assistant under Dr. Lawrence E. Carter Sr. at the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel — quietly reclaiming the call that had never released him.
Pastor Bullock's ministry has since spanned local and national platforms, encompassing community food pantries, faith-based civic initiatives, and outreach programs rooted in justice, compassion, and restoration. He is a preacher, teacher, and spiritual leader whose message is forged not merely from study, but from survival.
In addition to his pastoral calling, Pastor Bullock is an accomplished music producer and founder of Ivy League Productions, with contributions to Grammy-nominated and Billboard-charting projects. Yet his life bears witness that success without surrender is insufficient. Above all, his heart remains anchored in proclaiming the Gospel, equipping believers, and serving the Kingdom of God with integrity and excellence.
Pastor Bullock is joyfully united in holy matrimony with Lady Keesha Bullock. Together they are blessed with twins, their son Malachi and daughter Madelynn — living reminders that God still births joy after grief and promise after pain.
With unwavering faith, Pastor Timothy H. Bullock remains fully surrendered to God's will, committed to leading Woods Memorial Baptist Church in spiritual growth, community transformation, and the work of the Great Commission — declaring with conviction, "To God be the glory for the great things He has done."
Through Timothy H. Bullock Ministries, Pastor Bullock extends his teaching and encouragement beyond the local congregation, reaching believers wherever they are through daily devotions, sermons, and biblically grounded resources — standing as living proof that while trauma may shape a chapter, God still authors the story.

Convictions
What We Stand For
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God — our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation is a gift of God, received by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, apart from any works of our own.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the only remedy for sin, and that repentance and faith are required of all who would be saved.
The Local Church
We believe in the importance of the local church as God's institution for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
